পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 10-12; পায়ূ কাঁটা 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 53 - 67. Yellowish-brown in color, black on head and abdomen, fins colorless (Ref. 3991). Short trunk, long tail, anterior dorsal fin and short toothed of the maxillary (Ref. 37473).

From 200-800 m in tropical waters.
