Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 9 - 10; Rayons mous anaux: 11 - 18. The absence of a distinct, anteriorly-expanded, dark stripe on the ventral portions of the body immediately dorsal of the anterior branched anal-fin rays distinguishes Attonitus bounites from Attonitus irisae and Attonitus ephimeros (Ref 53400).
