ຄີຫຼັງຂອງປາ (ຄີອ່ອນ) (ທັງໝົດ) : 36 - 39. This species is distinguished by the following characters: tail rings 28-30), dorsal-fin rays 36-39; subdorsal tail rings 7-8 (Ref. 132364).

ຊີວະສາດ     ຄຳແປສັບ (ຕ.ຢ. epibenthic)

Majority of collections are from freshwater streams and rivers. Probably reaches 14.5 cm SL. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
