Etymology: Poecilia: Greek, poikilos = with a lot of colours (Ref. 45335); rositae: Named for Mrs. Rosita Bonhaus, Melle, for her considerable contribution to the production process of numerous aquaristic books, including the new atlas of livebearing fishes.
