Body shape (shape guide): fusiform / normal.
Occurs over muddy, sandy and rocky substrates all over the lake, preferably in water of less than 6 m depth. Juveniles feed on zooplankton and insects; adults take in addition small mollusks and macrophytes (Ref. 35835).
