Épines dorsales (Total) : 3; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total) : 8; Épines anales: 2; Rayons mous anaux: 5. With long paired fins, relatively short but deep and laterally compressed caudal peduncle. Lateral and dorsal body portions, with roundish brown spots on a marbled background. Head and body, pale yellow ventrally. Dorsal and caudal fins with rows of brown spots. Peritoneum, dull brown.
