Facultative air-breathing in the genus (Ref. 126274); Found in mud flats of lagoons and river mouths. Sometimes occurs in worm or shrimp burrows. Oviparous (Ref. 56079). Males guard the eggs which are found attached to the walls of burrows (Ref. 56079).
