Marine; demersal; depth range 0 - 15 m (Ref. 2850). Subtropical
Eastern Central Pacific: Serena Cove, Santa Barbara County in southern California, USA to southern Baja California, Mexico.

Max length : 6.4 cm TL male/unsexed; (Ref. 2850)
Inhabits tide pools and rocky areas. The few stomachs which have been examined contained isopods and amphipods (Ref. 4930).
