This species is characterized by the following: irregular blotches or bars 8; body with vertically elongated blotches, and with mottled middorsal area on the back; with a deep median notch in the upper lip; caudal-peduncle length 11.6 % SL; predorsal length 53.4 % SL (Ref. 132199).
