Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11 - 12; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 17 - 19. AC photopores discontinuous, 6th to 8th or 7th to 9th above level of others. Barbel uniformly black, its base pale; its terminal bulb slightly smaller than PV photophore. No black spot on caudal peduncle.
