Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 7 - 8; Vertebrae: 52 - 54. This species is distinguished by the following characters: gill rakers 25-29 (8-9 + 17-20); total vertebrae 52-54; body slender, depth at pectoral-fin base 6.6-8.3; dorsal and pelvic fins set far back on body, the predorsal length 69.0-74.5 and prepelvic length 67.8-71.4; short space between the pelvic and anal fins, distance from pelvic-fin insertion to anal-fin origin 12.5-14.5) (Ref. 97677).
