Etymology: Phyllophichthus: Greek, phyhllon = leaf + Greek, ophis =serpent + Greek, ichthys = fish (Ref. 45335); diandrus: Name 'diandrus' from the Latin compound adjective meaning 'bi-stamened', in reference to the flower-like shaped tubular nostril with two papillae inside.
