Etymology: Odontostilbe: Greek, odous = teeth + Greek, stilbe, es = lamp (Ref. 45335); weitzmani: 'weitzmani', i.e., named after Stanley H. Weitzman (Ref. 128907).

Found at lapa stream near the mouth and along the seawall of rock and the bridge of the road. The largest specimens observed were 4.39 cm for males and 5.08 cm for females (Ref. 128907).
