Etymology: Careproctus: Greek, kara = face + Greek, proktos = anus (Ref. 45335); narilobus: Name from Latin 'naris' for nostril, and 'lobus' for lobe, to denote the posterior tissue flap associated with the nostril (Ref. 92437).
