Dorsal spines (total): 2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 16 - 20; Anal soft rays: 17 - 18; Vertebrae: 26. Canary yellow with buffer brown markings along sides, enclosing pure white round or oval spots; some spots of same white color on pectoral and dorsal fins; dark bar across caudal and pectoral fins. Posterior nostril diagonally or longitudinally elongated (Ref. 42788).
