Etymology: Nomorhamphus: Greek, nema = filament + Greek, rhamphos = bill, peak (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Dr Dig Liem was, according to the description, a long-time friend of the author in Indonesia and we presume him to be an aquarist and collector. (We cannot discount the possibility that ‘Dig’ is a nickname for Dr K F Liem [below]). (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
