Quote Snoeks and Hanssens, 2004 (Ref. 55954): "We tentatively accept the synonymy of T. polyodon (Trewavas, 1935) and T. maculiceps (Ahl, 1927) with [the] species (T. macrostoma (Regan, 1922)) as suggested by Konings (1996).
