Acheilognathidae (Bitterlings)
Etymology: Acheilognathus: Greek, a = without + Greek, cheilos = lip + Greek, gnathos = jaw (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Dr Eduard Philibert Assmuss (1838–1882) was a German entomologist. He wrote: Parasiten der Honigbiene (1865). The type collections of Dybowski and Asmuss are held in the Museum of Geology, Tartu, Estonia. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
