Etymology: Enteromius: Greek, enteron = intestine + Greek, myo, mys = muscle (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: R Deguide was a collector for MRAC in the Ikela region of the Belgian Congo (DRC) (1955–1956). Matthes honoured him as a way of thanking him for his assistance during Matthes’ researches in that region. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
