Diagnosis

Diagnosis: Gill rakers of the first arch 2-3 + 12-14. Vertebrae 10 + 26-27. Interorbital width comparatively narrow. Anterior margin of head gently arched without distinct notch. No jet-black blotches on caudal fin (Ref. 56629).

Description: Body shallow ovate and deepest at the middle of the body; depth about equal to half length of body; dorsal and ventral contours gently arched. Caudal peduncle narrow, depth about 1/4 of body depth.
