Caudal-fin rays 8; pectoral girdle with 3 round radials; chin pores in a pit, interspace equal to one pore diameter; gill opening 0.8 eye, ventral end on horizontal with lower margin of eye; pectoral without rudimentary rays, upper lobe long, 76 HL; head 19.3 SL, preanal 33.5 SL; color brown with paler areas, skin thin, peritoneum black (Ref. 42734).
