Comments: Recorded from the Columbia River system, the Okanagan River and below the barriers of the Kettle River (Ref. 10882). Occurrence on Saltspring Island and southern Vancouver Island is due to introductions made into Washington, USA as well as direct introductions to the islands (Ref. 1998). Game fishers have a daily catch quota of 4 in some regions (smallmouth and largemouth bass combined). No general size limits. Some water specific regulations apply (Ref. 10989). Also Ref. 52559.
