Described from Mont Moco (Cuvo River basin); also known from the rivers Luachimo and Tchimenji (Chiumbe tributary) (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) and the Kwango drainage (Ref. 11970). Report from the "Cuanza (Atlantic coastal)" (Ref. 120641) probably refers to the Cuanzan drainage basin or Cuanza Ichthyological Province, including various Angolan coastal basins, and not (only) the Cuanza river basin. Also Ref. 3818.
