An amphidromous species. Known from Wainiha River, rivers in Kauai (Ref. 7416, 58302). Found in streams of on O'ahu, Maui, Moloka'i and Hawai'i (Ref. 44091); also reported from the mixohaline ponds of Kona coast (Ref. 46928).
