A lessepsian migrant (Ref. 56002). Known from the Aegean Sea in Paros, Naxos and Ios Islands (Ref. 56002). Probably this species has been established in Greek Islands or maybe this species makes seasonal movements for feeding. Even if the species is reported for the first time in Greece, local fishermen have caught small specimens of the species during August of 1999. Since July 2002, many specimens are often caught in Cyclades Islands while recently this species is also fished in great numbers in the coasts of Crete Island (Ref. 56002). Also Ref. 56002.
