Type locality, Amazonas, Novo Aripuanã, rio Aripuanã, igarapé Palhalzinho, INPA 28658 (holotype of Scoloplax baskini, 1.44 cm SL). This species occurs among leaf litter in small clearwater tributaries of the middle part of rio Aripuanã, which is a right-bank tributary of the middle rio Madeira (Ref. 79026). |
