Introduced to freshwaters of Brisbane area, Qld (Ref. 7300). It is no longer present in Seven Hills Creek, Brisbane. Population died out due to free water being invaded by terrestrial grasses (R. J. McKay, pers. comm). Also Ref. 44894.
