Known from coast to coast as far north as Arctic Circle in Mackenzie River drainage and south in Appalachian Mountains and in Rocky Mountains (Ref. 86798). Ranges from British Columbia to Newfoundland, north to the Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories (Ref. 52559). Also Ref. 3881, 86798, 119194.
