Comments

Known from Kaua'i. Small juveniles are benthopelagic while larger juveniles are pelagic (Ref. 58302). The diet of this salmon in Hawaiian streams consist of similar items to that of native species present and could thus pose a genuine concern for predation, competition and/or habitat alteration (Ref. 36779). Also Ref. 1998, 1972.
