Uncommon in the upper Neckar in 1850 (Ref. 10013). Vulnerable in 1984 (Ref. 27368). Widely supported by stocking for anglers; native occurrence observed in Schleswig-Holstein in 1996; minimum size 30 cm; no taking from 1 October - 31 December (Ref. 41851).
