Known from lower part of Pangani River (Ref. 2, 4967, 5166, 52331, 54836, 118630, 118638) and Zigi River (Ref. 2, 5166, 118630, 118638). Introduced in Mlingano dam, south of Pangani River, and probably other dams in coastal zone of Tanzania (Ref. 2, 54836). In southeast Tanzania, it is known from Lake Rutamba, Lake Nambawala and Lake Mitupa near Lindi (Ref. 118630, 118638). |
