This species is distinguished by the following characters: total vertebrae 34, midline of body with a dark black band; 8-9 lateral processes along entire lateral side of main body of swimbladder, 2 posterior extensions of the swimbladder (Ref. 93385).
泳鰾有分叉前面的延長, 前外側的延長後彎的而且延伸到腹的輸送管; 在後部的延長單個。 在側邊上的一條深色的斑紋有時夾雜著斑塊; 身體淡的黃褐色的具有一個深褐色的對在鰓蓋的上半部後面開始的黑色的斑紋而且向下彎曲到尾下的屈曲下面作為一個約略打破條紋或者當明顯的細長斑點或斑塊; 頭部而且頰部有細的黑色點; 腹面與下側可能是有密集的點, 幾乎黑色; 第一個和第二背鰭與臀鰭的鰭薄膜有黑色的點色暈了。
Inhabit inshore coastal waters (Ref. 6205). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Also caught using driftnets and mini-trawlers.
