Kurzbeschreibung Morphologie | Morphometrie

Distinguished uniquely from congeners in Europe by having a deep notch on the anterior margin of pelvic girdle. Differs further from other members of the genus by having the following combination of characters: trunk with 2-15 scutes; and scutes forming a lateral keel on caudal peduncle or keel absent. Morphological differences are reported in several lakes between individuals occurring in different substrates (mud, lava), especially in Lake Thingvalla (Ref. 59043).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82805):  PD50 = 0.5156   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01023 (0.00398 - 0.02628), b=3.07 (2.85 - 3.29), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.2   ±0.2 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Widerstandsfähigkeit (Ref. 120179):  hoch, Verdopplung der Population dauert weniger als 15 Monate. (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Verwundbarkeit (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (12 of 100) .
