เงี่ยงครีบหลัง (รวม): 10; ก้านครีบอ่อนที่หาง (รวม): 17-18; เงี่ยงครีบก้น 3; ก้านครีบอ่อนที่ก้น: 8; สัตว์มีกระดูกสันหลัง: 26. Differs from all other congeners by its lips mostly covered with very small scales, upper lip lacking rugosities, lower lip with rugosities along dorsal part; and maxilla almost squared off poteriorly where dorsal and posterior boarders of maxilla forming a right angle (Ref. 78426).
