Dorsale stekels (totaal): 10; Dorsale zachte stralen (totaal): 17-18; Anale stekels 3; Anale zachte stralen: 8; Wervels: 26. Differs from all other congeners by its lips mostly covered with very small scales, upper lip lacking rugosities, lower lip with rugosities along dorsal part; and maxilla almost squared off poteriorly where dorsal and posterior boarders of maxilla forming a right angle (Ref. 78426).
