পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 16 - 18; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 9-11; পায়ূ কাঁটা 3; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 8 - 9. Males from the northern populations with a bright orange patch on shoulder (absent in southern populations) (Ref. 40898).

Found in sandy areas (Ref. 40898).
