Espinas dorsales (total): 7; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 11; Espinas anales 1; Radios blandos anales: 11 - 12. Species has most elongate caudal peduncle of all Insularigobius examined, 14-17% of SL, usually 15-16%; predorsal midline usually fully scaled, usually 17-19; scales in horizontal series 49-51, usually 50-51; opercle may or may not be scaled; one to two spots present on caudal peduncle (Ref. 34009).
