পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 3; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 9-10; পায়ূ কাঁটা 3; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 9 - 11; কশেরুকা : 33 - 34. Iris of males blackish throughout the year. Branched, dorsal fin rays, 9-10 (mode 9); anal fin rays, 9-11 (mode 10). Melanophores on dorsal fin membrane. Karyotype with 2n = 48 (8m + 20sm + 20st). Ovipositor developed in females during breeding season (Ref. 40967).
