Short description Morfologia | Morfometria

Spine dorsali (totale): 22 - 25; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 23-27; Spine anali 3; Raggi anali molli: 17 - 21; Vertebre: 42 - 46. Dark olive green dorsally, becoming pale on sides, and silvery ventrally. Back and sides striped longitudinally with green lines and small blue dots.

Biologia     Glossario (es. epibenthic)

Found in large low tidal pools and surge channels (Ref. 9003). Feeds on zooplankton in the water column (Ref. 120445). May be found living within soft bodied invertebrates (e.g. salps) (Ref. 9003). Juveniles probably pelagic (Ref. 48372).
