Espinas dorsales (total): 8 - 10; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 14-17; Espinas anales 0; Radios blandos anales: 13 - 15. Head depressed, with bony spines and ridges dorsally (Ref. 559). Rounded bony plates bearing serrated margin present on dorsolateral surface of body (Ref. 559).
