Spine dorsali (totale): 8 - 10; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 14-17; Spine anali 0; Raggi anali molli: 13 - 15. Head depressed, with bony spines and ridges dorsally (Ref. 559). Rounded bony plates bearing serrated margin present on dorsolateral surface of body (Ref. 559).
