पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 0; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 12-15; गुदा कांटा 0; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 9 - 12. Diagnosis: 46-50 lateral line scales, pored except for 1-2 terminal scales; 7-9 branched anal fin rays; tip of pelvic fin falling short of, or barely extending to rear of, vent; dorsal portions of body with distinct dark, vertically oriented dark marks that form saddle-shaped pigmentation pattern; dark pigmentation on body extending distinctly below horizontal through base of pectoral fin in form of relatively narrow, vertical bars; adipose fin unpigmented (Ref. 81638).
