Additional Characters | Eggs are produced in a gelatinous floating mass or 'raft' where the eggs remain embedded until hatching (Ref. 240). Egg ratf is of the balloon type rather than a 'veil' or scroll which measures about 5 cm wide and 7 cm long (Ref. 47285). Each raft may contain about 48,800 eggs (Ref. 47285). |
