Eggs are demersal but the chorion being a bit thin does not preclude the possibity that the eggs may be benthopelagic or pelagic (Ref. 50743). In South Georgia: egg diameter = 3-4 mm (Ref. 89321). In Elephant Islands: egg diameter = 3.5-4.1 mm (Ref. 40010). In Kerguelen Islands: egg diameter = 3.2 mm (Ref. 7076). In Skiff Bank: egg diameter = 2.6 mm (Ref. 7076). |
