Comments: | Introduced from the Moscow area in ponds of the Tashkent district. In 1952, the species spawned there and in June 1952 the fingerlings were transferred into the Kattakurgan reservoir. From there the species entered the lower reach of the Zarafshan River through the connecting canal. In the following years the species was also introduced into Uchkyzyl and Yuzhnosurkhan reservoirs and became established. Ref: |
