Definition of Term

(English) Inwardly angular; used in describing the shape of a caudal fin which is divided into two equal lobes, the posterior border of each of which is relatively straight; a caudal fin having the shape of a two-lobed fork. (See also: caudal fin, fork length, tunas)
(French) Intérieurement angulaire; utilisé pour décrire la forme d'une nageoire caudale qui est divisée en deux lobes égaux, le bord postérieur de chacun de qui est relativement droit; une nageoire caudale qui a la forme d'une fourchette à deux lobes. (See also: caudal fin, fork length, tunas)
