Found in Zhujiang (=Pearl River), Mingjiang, Changjiang (=Yangtze River) and Yellow (=Huanghe River) rivers (Ref. 33793 ). Also known from Dongjiang River system of Guangdong Province and Nandujiang River system of Hainan Province (Ref. 33366) and from Heilongjiang and Qiantangjiang (Ref. 56670). Also found in Beijiang River and Pearl River (Ref. 89718).
Known from Xiuren of Guangxi Province; Zhejiang Province:(Meixi,Hangzhou); Shanghai City;Jiangxi Province; Hubei Province: ( Chongren, Honghu); Shanxi Province:( Zhouzhi, Yangxian); and Jinan of Shandong Province(Ref.33793).
