Family:  Xenocyprididae (East Asian minnows)
Max. size:  2.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Qinzhou, Guangxi Province, China.
Diagnosis:  Body yellowish pink, slightly transparent and with a horizontally red zone, number of tiny black spots scattered on head and back. Caudal peduncle slender and abdomen without scutes; head small; snout short and slightly pointed; lower jaw slightly projected and with sharp horny anterior edge; lips thin; eyes large and located near the tip of snout (Ref. 45536).
