Max. size:  80 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 100 - 230 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean to Western Pacific: endemic to Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Large offshore bottom stingaree that occurs on the outer continental shelf and uppermost slope (Ref. 9863, 75154).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 06 August 2018 (A2bd) Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
