Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 20 - 470 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: northern Kuril Islands to the Bering Sea and east to the Gulf of Alaska.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits primarily outer-shelf regions with a preference for bottoms of sand, pebbles, gravel, and shell.
